Epistemé: Jurnal Pengembangan Ilmu Keislaman, is a multidisciplinary academic journal published by the Postgraduate of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Tulungagung. Epistemé publishes two issues every year (in June and December). Its principal concern includes research development and knowledge dissemination on issues related to Islamic Studies with particular emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches, ranging from communication, anthropology, education, economics, sociology, philology, to philosophy, and else. This journal aims to be a sharing forum for researchers and authors whose main interest is in developing Islamic studies with multiple approaches. Nevertheless, each published article belongs to a particular viewpoint of the author and does not represent the view of the publisher and editors.

The journal believes in the idea of knowledge for all and an easy-access for every interested reader. All published articles can be accessed through our online platform at http://ejournal.iain-tulungagung.ac.id.

Since 2016, The Indonesia Ministry for Research and Technology (Kemenristek RI) has granted The Epistemé as one of referred publication (accredited with B level/Sinta 2) on Islamic studies (SK Dirjen Ristek Dikti No. 36a/E/KPT/2016). This official recognition will be valid until 2021.
