ANALYZING STRATEGIES FOR DEVELOPING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS IN LOCAL HISTORY EDUCATION

<p>The learning success of a student is influenced by many factors both from internal factors such as learning motivation from the students themselves and external factors such as the environment and professionalism of a teacher. history is a branch of science that researches and systematically investigates the overall development of society, past events, and critically evaluates the results of the research. The development of historical teaching materials with the hope of increasing the achievements and abilities of historical research has several stages as follows: (1) Initial analysis; (2) Product Design; (3) Development; (4) Field trials. In history lessons, students are expected to be able to extrapolate facts that existed in the past so that they are used for future learning until they know the benefits of history. Historical learning is based on several things, namely: (1) knowledge and understanding of terms, concepts, facts and events: (2) critical thinking, students can develop practical skills of students in understanding historical facts; (3) must be able to develop students' skills in understanding history practically; (4) developing talent interest in history learning; (5) develop healthy social behavior.</p>

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) IN THE INVENTORY OF LANDSLIDE-PRONE AREAS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF MITIGATION STRATEGIES

<p><em>Indonesia merupakan wilayah yang rawan terhadap bencana longsor. Terjadinya bencana longsor ini dapat menyebabkan dampak yang besar seperti kerusakan dan kerugian akibat baik materil maupun non materil. Tersedianya informasi yang lengkap dan akurat dalam pengendalian pemanfaatan lahan dikawasan rawan bencana longsor dalam pengembangan suatu wilayah menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam meminimalisir adanya korban jiwa dan kerugian-kerugian baik fisik, sosial maupun ekonomi. Informasi tersebut harus disebarkan kepada masyarakat sebagai sistem peringatan dini dalam upaya mitigasi bencana. Identifikasi karakteristik daerah rawan longsor diperlukan sebuah pemetaan risiko kawasan rawan longsor dalam upaya mitigasi bencana dapat dilakukan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya identifikasi bencana secara detail karena pada dasarnya, suatu kawasan yang terancan bencana belum tentu tiap masyarakatnya memiiki tingkat risiko bencana yang sama. Pemetaan dapat dilakukan dengan pengkusteran maupun dengan identifikasi setiap bangunan dalam kawasan rawan berdasarkan tingkat risiko terhadap bencana tanah longsor.</em></p>

GEOGRAPHY E-MODULE IN ONLINE LEARNING

<p>Abstract</p> <p>The use of technology in the world of education provides convenience in learning activities. Utilization and use of technology in the field of education can be through online learning. In addition to the online system, there is also the development of teaching materials from print-based to e-module-based teaching materials. E-modules have various advantages over print modules in terms of usage. The purpose of developing electronic modules is so that students are accustomed to using technology and make students have high enthusiasm for learning. This is because the electronic geography module is made interestingly with pictures, dancing data and facts, animated and real-time videos about geographic phenomena so that students are more interested in learning. The electronic module trains students in self-study because it is not limited by space or duration.</p>

LEARNING SOCIAL VULNERABILITY: A STUDY OF INDONESIAN MIGRANT WORKERS IN HONGKONG DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

<p><em>When Covid-19 health pandemic has crossed over worldwide, migrant workers have standed in a vulnerable condition due to violations of migrants' rights, impartial policies and being far from the social space. The Covid-19 pandemic has placed migrant workers in increasingly layered conditions of vulnerability. This study aims to identify the vulnerability of Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong SAR, China, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hong Kong SAR, China, is one of the favorite destinations of Indonesian Migrant Workers and also is closest to mainland China as the epicenter of Covid-19. This qualitative research with a case study approach involves virtual in-depth interviews with Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong SAR, China. In addition to interviews, data were also obtained from secondary sources from journal articles, research reports, and working papers. The results showed that migrant workers in Hong Kong SAR, China, during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced precarious conditions such as a heavier workload, violated rights and exclusion, and stigmatization. Therefore, Indonesian government representative should improve migration data by integrating from the downstream until upstream level and engage communities to distribute the emergency aids. In addition to that embassy has to increase their services by negotiating with the authorities for improving migrant rights condition and integration with Hong Kong SAR, China, communities.</em></p>

ASSISTING THE PRESERVATION OF LOCAL WISDOM IN REOG KENDANG: AN EFFORT TO PROMOTE CHARACTER EDUCATION AND ARTISTIC SKILLS AMONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS OF SIDOMULYO, PAGERWOJO, TULUNGAGUNG

<p><em>Penelitian ini disajikan untuk mengetahui bagaimana merevitalisasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan ketrampilan seni tari Reog Kendang pada saiswa-siswa sekolah dasar Sidomulyo tentang pentingnya memliki ketrampilan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pada seni tari.Data dikumpulkan selama 2 bulan mulai dari Januari hingga Februari 2019 di sekolah Dasar Sidomulyo Pagerwojo di Tulungagung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa-siswa yang didampingi oleh peneliti untuk melestaraikan tari Reog Kendang sebagai seni tari dan salah satu kearifan lokal masyarakata setempat. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 65 siswa yang memiliki informasi relevan tentang tema penelitian Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa ada beberapa anak yang belajar tari Reog Kendang bertindak sebagai pelaku tari sebagai ketrampilan seni tari berlatih, mendiskusikan simbol tari dengan teman-temannya dan bertanya jawab dengan peneliti tentang makna dan sejarah tari Reog Kendang. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga diperoleh beberapa perspektif anak-anak dalam mempraktekkan tari Reog Kendang sebagai media pembelajaran untuk merevitalisasi nilai-nilai sejarah,moral dan sosial. Beberapa tanggapannya adalah: meningkatkan pengabdian kepada negara, mengajarkan bagaiamana berperilaku baik, jujur dalam kehidupan bermasyrakat, belajar dan disiplin, berlatih untuk beranggungjawab, meneladani sejarah pahlawan regional dan nasional, saling menghargai ketika berproses baik ketika berlatih tari,mengembangkan ketrampilan seni, menciptakan seni dan menampilkan karya seni terbaik bagi desa pada saat perpisahan, bersih desa,pembukaan acara di desa dan kecamatan. Selain itu, ditemukan juga perspektif anak-anak dalam berlatih tari, menguasai seni trai Reog Kendang sebagai media pembelajaran: menyampaikan pelajaran melalui tari dan berlatih secara langsung serta memahami makna dalanm setiap gerakan lebih menarik, termotivasi, menambah pengetahuan, dan menghibur bukan hanya untuk penari akan tetapi juga penikmat seni. </em></p>
