Abstract
In social studies education learning is able to form social attitudes, which are based on character and identity in their environment, and especially as citizens of Indonesian society, who are virtuous and have noble personalities. This scientific article is a study obtained by using a literature study. This study was made by identifying literature related to social studies learning problems, social studies learning challenges and global social studies learning issues. All potentials contained in social science content must be integrated. Therefore, learning such social studies education requires a broad understanding, not only in the knowledge aspect, but also in the form of skills, values and attitudes and actions. . Issues that develop in society globally, attract a lot of attention and have a broad influence so that they can have a negative impact on life.
